Jason & Abby’s April 2023 Spring Wedding

My husband Jason and I got married got married this past April 2023 in Lexington, North Carolina at Board and Batten Events and had the privilege of working with Deans’ Duets! Hi, my name is Abby Best and working with April and Deans’ Duets has definitely been a “full circle story moment.” I began working at Deans’ Duets as their Social Media Marketing Intern my senior year of college as I was graduating with my degree in Business Administration: Sales Management/Professional Selling and Digital Marketing/Advertising. I have loved working at Deans’ Duets and with April as an intern, and now as Deans’ Duets Social Marketing Manager in the wedding industry to highlight couples’ wedding days.

While planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to have live music for the ceremony and cocktail hour and immediately knew Deans’ Duets was our first choice! We got married at Board and Batten Events in Lexington, NC surrounded by 115 of our family and friends and chose to have our ceremony outdoors, along with cocktail hour. We booked a violinist and cellist for our big day, and it was made even more special when April was also able to be there on our wedding day. We could not have picked a better wedding vendor to have played live music at our ceremony and cocktail hour! Every detail was thought of by Deans’ Duets which couldn’t have been more helpful, especially with all of the planning taking place leading up to wedding day. Without ever having the musicians at our dress rehearsal, the timing of our ceremony was flawless! Having live music on our day elevated the ceremony and cocktail hour, and sounded beautifully.
