Lindsey and Anthony's October Wedding at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in Belmont, NC
It was a perfect Fall day as Lindsey and Anthony’s outdoor October wedding was held at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens in Belmont, North Carolina. Lindsey and Anthony selected our pianist and harpist for their prelude and ceremony with a guitarist for cocktail hour. We loved getting to know our thoughtful couple throughout the music selection process leading up to their big day! Anthony is also a musician and producer, so music was very important to them.
The solo harp played the outdoor ceremony in the White Garden while the piano played in the main entrance of the venue. At 5:15pm, we played “Clair de Lune” on the piano as the harpist began playing the same song in White Garden.
After the ceremony, at cocktail hour, our solo guitarist played in the Canal Garden. This is one of those rare opportunities where we have musicians on-site not playing together!
Event Details
Crystal was the coordinator and is as always great to work with along with Rosice from Cease Fire Productions. Our musicians dressed in tuxedos and floor length gowns as the wedding attire was a black tie formal event. No details were missed from the venue and decor to the musicians and details, songs, and tempos.
Song Cues
Song cues are equally as important as the music selection process and can be vital to ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
Equally as important is the coordination that we have with planners and coordinators. Cues for the processional helps to nonverbally communicate that the bridal party is about to walk down the aisle and that it’s time for a song change.

Pianist (Ceremony Prelude)
We played “Let’s Stay Together” during the ceremony prelude. The piano on-site at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens also made setup and break down seamless.
We are happy to make musical adjustments and important preparations so that our couples have the wedding day of their dreams!
Harpist (Ceremony)
The harpist began playing “A Thousand Years” and “Beauty and the Beast” to begin the ceremony. These were the two song selections were played until the processional began. We also played “Perfect” for the bride.
Our harpist was amplified by Rocise Batsuli (DJ - Cease Fire Productions). The amplification made the harp sound even more live and present for the grand entrance!
Guitarist (Cocktail Hour)
Once ceremony concluded, the guests transitioned into cocktail hour where our guitarist played a variety of arrangements. The couple chose 16 songs for cocktail hour. The guitar began playing immediately as guests were walking toward cocktail hour so that it welcomed them from the ceremony.
With Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s luscious plants, greenery, and walkways, the venue is a gorgeous space to have ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception for any wedding.
