Our musician team had a great time playing at Eliana and Rey’s November wedding day at Big Chill in Charlotte, North Carolina!

Eliana and Rey’s 90 guest indoor wedding had our solo violinist play for their ceremony along with solo piano music for cocktail hour and dinner.
Wedding Day
On wedding day, the musicians arrived, parked, and setup around 4:45pm. Shortly after, we found the baby grand piano on-site! In preparation for the day, we put away our instrument bags, talked with Cassie Sigmon (coordinator) and the officiant. Cassie (coordinator) and Mekenzie Lee (venue contact) were fantastic to work with on wedding day! Prelude began with the solo violinist playing at 5:30pm. Cocktail hour followed at 6:30pm with solo piano music playing until cocktail ended at 8:30pm with dinner shortly after.

Music Selection
In preparation for the special November day, our musician team talked about music selections for cocktail hour and dinner which included Bruno Mars, Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, The Beatles, John Legend, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder…. lots of mixing styles. The couple’s goal was to bring an upbeat, fun, and romantic atmosphere to their wedding day, and we think they succeeded beautifully!
For ceremony, we loved how personalized Eliana and Rey’s setlist was as it included a great variety of pop music. The musician team also planned specific songs such as “Signed Sealed Delivered”, “To Make You Feel My Love”, and “Stay.”
With the music selections and preparations carefully curated, Eliana and Rey’s wedding day music sounded beautiful and was carefully personalized to fit their vision.
