Strolling Violin Music at the Westin-Charlotte

We played strolling violin music for the American Nuclear Society conference in Charlotte at the Westin in February.

Four violinists walked up and down the aisles and played from booth to booth. Each violinist had her own song list, so everyone heard a wide variety of music, from classical, to fiddle, to popular.

We played all kinds of music, from Monti's Csardas to I Dreamed a Dream to Clocks (Coldplay) and even some Celtic fiddle. Even though four different violins played at once, the sound echoing in the ballroom filled the air beautifully without clashing.

This was our first time playing a gig like this, but it was such a great idea for a conference! It created a light mood with excitement in the air.

Thanks for the American Nuclear Society for inviting us!

Three hours is apparently a long time to walk around and play! I think we all went home and iced our fingertips and our feet :)
