Amanda was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, and is now a violinist in Charlotte, NC. She has a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, a Certificate in Violin Performance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Master of Music in Violin Performance from Appalachian State University.
She has performed for many diverse settings, such as the violinist for weddings in North Carolina, yoga classes, Irish bands, rock bands, and musicals. She regularly performs with several orchestras in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee; including Symphony of the Mountains, Western Piedmont Symphony, Union Symphony, Hendersonville Symphony, Brevard Philharmonic, Wilmington Symphony, Roanoke Symphony, Spartanburg Symphony, and Salisbury Symphony.
She is a decorated violinist who performs in our violin duets in Charlotte, Huntersville, Statesville, and Cornelius. She also leads our string trio in Charlotte as well.
Amanda maintains a private studio of violin and viola students, ranging from beginning to advanced levels. Her students perform at local venues for recitals, as well as nursing homes for community outreach. Her students regularly audition and place into the Honors Orchestras of Charlotte and the Western Regional Orchestras.
