Kate and Matt’s March Merrimon-Wynne House wedding in Raleigh, NC was a bright and sunny day for Deans’ Duets’s violin cello duet.

We love playing for couple’s wedding days, events, parties, and especially the showcases at Merrimon-Wynne in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Merrimon-Wynne Spring Showcase on 4.26.23 was stunning and the atmosphere was beyond elegant.

Sunday was our first time at High Grove Estate in Fuquay-Varina, NC. Apparently this is a big up and coming event venue in the Raleigh area, and it seems like they’re doing a ton of weddings. It’s a gorgeous venue with a lot of versatility.

It was going to be the most popular wedding date in years. Everyone had their calendars full for this date. And then Covid happened. Lots of cancellations and rescheduling, and we all wondered what would happen to the most popular wedding date of the year.

Christianna and Timothy were married at Childress Vineyards in Lexginton, NC and we had the privilege of playing string trios for their ceremony music and cocktail hour music.
