Virginia & Jakob’s Highlands Wedding Day at The Farm at Old Edwards

Virginia and Jakob's May wedding at The Farm at Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, NC, was a joyous day in which Deans’ Duets’ solo violinist played for the wedding ceremony. The couple had around 80 guests in attendance for their special day with their ceremony held in The Orchard House! We could not get enough of the elegance and elevation of the day with the scenic atmosphere, lush florals, and amazing vendors.

Itinerary

It is important that we plan and prepare in advance along with arriving a few minutes early prior to setting up as the Farm at Old Edwards is a separate location than the Inn. They’re about 8 minutes from each other, so making sure we are at the correct location on property is key! Before the ceremony began at 5:30pm, we parked, loaded in equipment, set up, warmed up, talked with the officiant and planner to ensure everyone was on the same page, and captured a few behind the scenes photos.

A fantastic aspect of Old Edwards Inn is not only that The Farm at Old Edwards Inn boasts a premier wedding venue on property, but there are also more intimate places for couples to get married and events to be hosted at such as the Barn, Pavilion, the Orchard House, the Farmhouse, the Orchard, the Trout Pond, and more! The possibilities are endless.
