Corrie is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she studied viola under Dr. Scott Rawls and majored in Music Education.

In addition to playing for weddings, Ms. Franklin performs as a violist in the Durham Symphony where she previously served as the Durham Symphony Education Representative.

Ms. Franklin is the Orchestra Director at Chapel Hill High School and Culbreth Middle School. She currently serves as the Orchestra Delegate for the North Carolina Music Educators Association and is a National Board Certified Teacher. A passionate advocate for orchestra education, Ms. Franklin serves as a director for the Raspberry Ridge String Camp in Durham, NC. 

Corrie is a violinist and a violist for Deans' Duets, and she performs for weddings in Raleigh and Wilmington, NC, on both violin and viola.
