Ingrid is a native of Boone, NC.  She began studying piano at the age of 6 and fell in love immediately with music making. As both a classical and jazz musician, she bridges tradition and innovation.  The study of the Alexander Technique has deepened her collaboration with other musicians.  Ingrid teaches a studio of young musicians in Boone and Banner Elk, North Carolina, and she performs in weddings, events, cocktail hours, and jazz ensembles with Deans' Duets.
