Victoria played in her native Colombia with the Colombia Youth Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Music Groups that took her to tour her country and neighboring country Venezuela.

Since her move to Charlotte, Victoria has studied with Professor John Cloer. She has played with the Charlotte Philharmonic Orchestra, the Charlotte Civic Orchestra and various string quartets and string trios throughout North Carolina. She has also participated in recording projects for local artists.

She enjoys playing and teaching her students, who range from 4 to 64 years old. Victoria lives in Charlotte, NC, with her husband, drummer, Scott McLaughlin, with whom she enjoys live music, road trips and puzzles.

Victoria plays the cello as a solo cellist as well as as a collaborative musician in our acoustic wedding music groups.  She also works on our team as a corporate event musician and as a wedding musician.  She performs on solo cello most often in Charlotte as well as Columbia, SC, and Charleston, SC.
